Description
Profile:
- Minimum seven years of experience in IT development context in which a number of years with a strong affinity for Infrastructure and Platforms .
- Working knowledge and hands- on experience with a wide range of technologies and platforms ( eg J2EE, SOA, database, Hadoop, Weblogic, JBoss, Coherence, OSB, BPEL, Security, SAML, OAuth, Monitoring, Storage, VMWare)
- Knowledge of design patterns and UML .
- You can communicate easily with other stakeholders within projects ( both Dutch and English MANDATORY ) .
- Functional telecom experience is a plus .
- Knowledge/Experience with TMF frameworks is a plus ( SID/eTOM/TAM ) .
- Team player with a sense of responsibility that can operate autonomously.
- You are Master in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Tasks:
- You are responsible for maintaining the infrastructure and integration architecture, both baseline and vision related to security, Middleware, integration, data management, and other platforms. You can stay informed of developments in the market and at various vendors.
- You will determine and document the reference architecture of the different platforms.
- You will maintain and work transformation and upgrade of roadmaps. You defend them for both technical and non-technical management audience.
- You determine the scope of infrastructure projects, suggests possible solutions for you and is involved in the implementation. You are able to work out a business case and get various other stakeholders commitment.
- You support and directs projects related to infrastructure and integration architecture impact. You monitor projects in alignment with the IT strategy concerning the infrastructure and technology stack.
- You're reviewing deliverables from vendors and can help out if needed to resolve itself. Complex technical issues

- You initiate and implement projects in addition also short-term improvements in order to improve availability, performance, and maintainability of the systems.
- You will work actively to innovation in IT including development of Proof Of Concepts ( eg in the context of Big Data, Social, Mobile ( apps ), Cloud, OAuth, ... ).
