Instrument Engineer Needed for a 10-12 Month Contract.Based in the North East, Teeside area the client that I am working with a large Chemical company working on a large site.
The Client is working on a number of lasrge projects that are taking place in the next year.
Previous experience, or a desire, to work within an engineering contracting/consultancy environment is essential and the individual would be expected, as a minimum, to be able to;
- Compile and present engineering capability to potential clients in support of proposals
- Lead and advise others in the delivery of engineering solutions including preparation of specifications, calculations and drawings, both directly and through supervision of other engineers and designers
- Review designs, reports and installations for compliance with design intent, GXP, H&S requirements and Hazardous Area / ATEX requirements
A good practical knowledge of the following engineering subjects would be considered advantageous:
- Process instrumentation and measurement techniques and specification
- Chemical experience.
- Hazardous Areas.
- DCS and PLC specification, including hardware, wiring and configuration
- Site installation and commissioning work experience within the process or chemical industries.
