Subsea Engineer required to join a global oil and gas engineering company and be the technical authority for operation and maintenance of the Subsea capping, dispersant and containment equipment.

Role and Responsibilities: 
- In collaboration with the Technical Manager; developing, implementing and providing oversight and audit of operational procedures
- To provide technical support/advice to member organisations in response planning for deployment of capping, dispersant and containment equipment.
- In collaboration with the Technical Manager to develop an effective equipment maintenance schedule across all bases to ensure cost effective service delivery by suppliers; and acceptable equipment availability to members
- To work with members on technical definition of requirements for upgrade and ongoing development of hardware.
- Developing and maintaining subsea well intervention equipment technical data
- Developing standard operating procedures across all bases and teams. Identifying best-practice and coordinating standardisation across all teams.
- In collaboration with the Technical Manager; ensure availability of equipment by co-ordination of operations and maintenance activities across all sites and teams, including suppliers and customers.. Supporting development, dissemination and standardisation of best-practice procedures.
- Identifying opportunities to improve technical and operational performance.
- Identifying operational risks and developing strategies for dealing with these.
- Conducting regular supplier audits and reviews. 
- Quality/ISO: maintain quality systems, processes and procedures suitable and sufficient for the efficient management of the business. 
- Revenue Generation: contribute to the development of new business in supporting proposals, bids and tenders and ensuring that the technical aspects of any services are properly addressed during delivery.
- Membership: Provision of technical support to members and the development and retention of the membership base

Significant travel to bases in Norway, Singapore, Cape Town and Rio de Janiro to provide technical expertise and training.
