Network and Security Engineer required for a 6 month contract.

My client based in Manchester is seeking a Network and Security Engineer to start work immediately.
This exciting , innovative and growing consultancy company are looking to grow their Networking team, specifically around the Security standards. The role will involve planning upgrades, setting up new domain structures, upgrading servers, and being a vital part of various Network projects.

Length: 6 Months

Rate: £ Per day.

Location: Manchester

Your typical will include:
· Assisting with internal IT projects
· Monitoring network usage;
· Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of servers;
· Suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems;
· Ensuring that all IT equipment complies with industry standards;
· Analysing and resolving faults, ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password;
· Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet;
· Planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work;
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
· CCNA/CCNP - essential
· CISSP -
· LAN/WAN
· VoIP / Cisco VoIP
· Cisco Routers and Switches
· Minimum 3 years experience with Networks and Security
· Cisco ASA/FWSM/PIX - In depth Firewall experience

. CCIE - Advantageous (R&S or Security)
