For an exciting new contract position based in Zurich, RM IT Professional resources are currently seeking a Software License Manager.This contract position would be to start as soon as possible, and the duration is 10 days.
The ideal candidate will asses and provide a report for licensing implications of the new mobile or corporate mobile device strategy this includes:
· What implications does the corporate use of private devices have on the licence requirement for these devices in terms of SW which (a) is already deployed or (b) will be deployed by the user/device owner in future?
· Will the device / its content (apps) be centrally visible internally and to 3rd parties
· How should the customer manage the licences deployed on these devices in the future - how and who normally does this in the organisation?
· What are leading SAM tools in the market for Mobile Device Software license management.
· Recommended best practice Software Asset Management processes.
· Risks from SAM perspective.
· Any other considerations for Software license management.
