A fantastic position as Specialist Complaints Manager, has been opened by my client, a large financial institution within the UK, supporting the business in relation to complex investment and pension related complaints, in particular coordinating investigations into the suitability of investment advice and compiling a bespoke, clear and client centric response

As an expert in regulated and specialist areas with appropriate expertise to thoroughly review complex file evidence and understand intricate financial structuring documentation, risk profiling and to ascertain suitability of advice based on the evidence available.

You will have a deep understanding of Retail Distribution Review (RDR) requirements, including charging structure and restricted advice business model, keeping abreast of all changes both internally and externally.

You will also be expected to maintain a thorough understanding of both the business and third party products in order to support liaison with the teams and enable clear articulation of the intricacies of products to complainants.

You will also be responsible for:
*Supporting Specialist Advisors and Wealth Managers in the effective handling of regulated and specialist complaints, co-ordinating an independent investigation.
*To ensure relevant systems and databases are kept up to date and maintained to provide an immediate source of information concerning work in progress and a clear audit trail is visible for each complaint.
*To produce bespoke, professional, time bound, client centric and technically proficient response letters for frontline sign off, in line with internal group standards and compliant with all FCA regulations.
*Work within the defined process for paying redress as advised by the redress team, liaising with relevant parties to gain authorisation
