SC Air Aircraft Project Manager Bristol

To manage aircraft application and related services to ensure the strategic management of the Defence Estate as a whole whilst optimising investment in order to support military capability to best effect
Position Role:
The post holder is accountable and responsible for the delivery of projects capital projects within functional area. The post provides SME input to the early development of programmes and projects and is responsible for the implementation of projects through the tender and construction processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the delivery of option studies, tender and construction documentation, managing risks in order to drive optimal delivery.
2. Responsible for the management of Contractors for assigned projects (including PSP and Framework Contractors).
3. Responsible for engaging with Users, ODC, IPs and other DIO functional areas in order to contribute to the effective development of assigned projects.
4.Ensure compliance with all my clients and statutory regulations and processes with appropriate governance and management controls.
5. Provide SME construction, estate and project delivery advice and support.
6. Responsible for accurate financial management and reporting of delegated projects policy including supporting the scrutiny process and the development of project business cases.
