Description
For one of our projects in the public sector we are urgently looking for 4 Senior System Administrators for the IT SECURITY team in Luxembourg.
The new System Administrator Security will perform Operating System and Application level system administration;
You will also perform system/network, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, backups, user management, patch management, security management, system troubleshooting (incident management, problem management).
In addition, specific security engineering tasks will have to be performed such as systems hardening and implementation of measures to comply with applicable security policies such as Privileged User Access Control and Security Monitoring.
Secure the infrastructure
- The system administrator will ensure that a high security level is applied to the infrastructure, including Security design: risk analysis, hardening, security monitoring
- Security processes, procedures, such as assets management, vulnerability management, password management, …
Take part in the service management
You will have to take an active part in the service management, including the following tasks:
- Elaborate the service catalog, process description (the ITIL framework will be used as guidance);
- Perform processes review and improvement;
Furthermore you will participate in the evaluation; implementation and improvement of the security monitoring solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
For this role you need:
- Experience with hardening systems security as a security system administrator (LSA)
- Mastering scripting languages (perl, powershell …);
- Strong knowledge of ITIL V3 methodology.
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience
- To be fluent in English AND French
