Role - MI Analyst
Duration - 3-6 months
Location - Pendeford
Purpose of the Programme
The Programme will transform securities processing across 2 operations sites and provide valid and insightful management information relating to that processing.
Core Skills
- Experience in Financial Services
- Exceptional design and delivery skills (ability to gather requirements and turn into effective designs, and models)
- Exceptional business analysis and reporting skills (review & improve existing processes, collect/mine/analyse and communicate complex data)
- Experience working on MI systems/data warehouse
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Strong knowledge of strategic analytical tools and techniques such as Business Objects, SQL, SAS, VBA, Advanced Excel skills, Access Databases
- Strong Business Objects report creation and development skills
- Strong documentation, presentation and communication skills
- Proven track record in development and delivery of quality management information reports from multiple data sources to a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under minimal direct supervision
- Delivery of MI solutions and insightful reports to stakeholders including requirement gathering, design, build and testing
- Ensure consistency of outputs and pro-actively highlighting anomalies or inconsistencies in business reporting
- Drive efficiency improvements in business applications and data analytics & reporting processes, particularly through automation
- Regular senior stakeholder engagement to ensure expectations of the business are met
- Identify MI needs and delivery to agreed plan of new MI
- Provide technical support, advice and assistance to the business
- Knowledge of Sharepoint and data extraction/manipulation
- Commercial Banking/Commercial Banking Operations MI knowledge
- Knowledge of Commercial Securities or Loans processes within Banking industry
