Duration: 16 Months initially

Our government client is recruiting for a User Acceptance Test Lead role based in Bristol for 16 months initially.
The role will be to lead the testing on all aspects of user acceptance testing. You will work alongside external development teams leading and providing guidance in the planning, co-ordination, and execution of user acceptance testing.

Essential
Expert in automated testing using Selenium-WebDriver, TestNG and Maven.
Good experience of security testing with tools such as BURP Suite.
Experience of non-functional testing (eg Performance, Cross Browser, Usability, Accessibility etc.)
Experience of exploratory testing techniques to supplement automation.
Experienced in assessing, prioritising, and managing defects through to closure.
Sound understanding of how to test in an Agile environment with regular delivery iterations.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with various stakeholders (both technical and non-technical).
Capable of working directly with the business to gain acceptance of the software.

Desirable
Experience of non-functional testing (eg Performance, Cross Browser, Usability, Accessibility etc.).
Demonstrates a level of technical awareness and an understanding of software architectures.
A sound understanding of BDD techniques.
Experience of JIRA.
