Commissioning Officer
We have an excellent opportunity for a Commissioning Officer to join a local authority in London.
The purpose of the role will to lead the commissioning of Environment and Enterprise services to internal and external providers, ensuring compliance to Council policies and outcomes, working with key elements of the Resources Directorate
Key responsibilities of the Commissioning Officer will be to;
- Working knowledge of procurement legislation and effective commissioning processes
- Demonstrable experience within a purchasing and procurement environment
- Experience in research and policy writing within a medium or large scale organisation
- Experience of working with, and influencing, partners across the public, private and voluntary sectors
