Global SAP Program Manager required to join a leading global Brand in their New York head office. Excellent rates provided - 3 year contract - end user environment.
A leading global brand is embarking upon a very large scale business process transformation program and upgrade of their SAP systems to ECC 6.0, BI 7.3/7.4 and CRM 7.3. The business has over 130,000 employees worldwide and operates throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
The Global SAP Program Manager will take ownership of end to end delivery of Global SAP Program and report directly into the project steering committee at CEO level.
Deliverables;
Manage key milestones and deliverables (following the PMO established methodology), issues, change management, risks, go/no-go decisions, user acceptance validations and approvals for a given Program/Project
Develop, manage, and motivate large multi-disciplinary program teams to support large and/or complex efforts/process change initiatives
Produce relevant program management deliverables such as program objectives and requirements, risk assessments, program and project plans, program status reports, issues logs, change logs, and action items list
Coordinate core and extended team meetings, along with tracking issues and actions for the program and plan
Track and manage aspects of a given program, from the requirements gathering phase through to implementation; track the portfolio of programs and report status and financials across project managements discipline including cost, schedule, scope and quality
Define and coordinate the securing of commitments from cross-functional groups and external providers in terms of resources, cost, schedule, and performance
Assist the Project Management Office (PMO) leadership with the development and implementation of PMO strategy, establishing the PMO function as a center of excellence, institutionalizing and maturing the Program Management (PM) life cycle methodology, and advancing the capabilities of program management and project management
Make project-level decisions and managing track team leads and day-to-day team activities
Escalate issues as appropriate
Serve as an advocate of the PM principles and standards established by the PMO
Required skills:
10 years global SAP Programme delivery experience
Proven success in delivering large scale Global SAP Programmes with multi million Euro budgets on time and to budget
Managing large teams 100+
Ability to work successfully with C-level executives
Knowledge of project management methodologies and ideally PMP or Prince 2 qualified
Change Management expertise
