Description
A Global Insurance Client is seeking an Oracle DBA to start ASAP. This post is for an immediate start and candidates will ideally be based in Ireland. This contract is for an initial 8 months.
Key requirements:
1. Advanced expertise in performance tuning activities and excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. 6 years Oracle DBA experience on a UNIX platform (AIX) including installing/configuring/patching Oracle database software on AIX/UNIX platform
3. 5 years or more experience in the database development life cycle
4. 3 years or more experience in design, development and support of large Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence related database applications
5. 3 years database programming including stored procedure and trigger development
6. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree & a minimum of 7 years overall IT experience
