Duration: Initial 6 months

EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: This is an exciting new opportunity for 4 Solution Directors to develop and meet the current demand of UK Bid Pipeline within our Deal Pursuit Team leading bids.
Role Responsibilities of the Solution Director
- Works closely with the Sales Lead to understand the client's Hot Buttons and requirements in a given opportunity
- Defines the scope and deliverables for the solutioning effort in a given opportunity
- Identifies the need for and brings in the Deal Pursuit Team members and other Subject Matter Experts as appropriate who are needed to develop the solution architecture
- Identifies and engages partner organisations
- Engages with the Delivery Owner to ensure the solution design is deliverable and commercial
- Combines own, DPT, SME and partner contributions to develop an integrated, deliverable solution
- Takes responsibility for, in collaboration with the Commercial and Financial leads, the costed resource and non-resource plan for the solution and Target Operating Model
- Works closely with the Commercial Lead to develop the cost model and understand the pricing assumptions
- Supports the Delivery Owner in obtaining approvals (ie underwriting) from appropriate delivery leads in UK and India Writes-up the solution in a sales-ready format and represents the solution face-to-face in client meetings and internal review meetings
Skill Set of the Solution Director
- Ability to define and analyse user requirements and advise customers on scope and options for business and operational improvements.
- Good knowledge of either Infrastructure, Application or BPO Solutions
- The Solution Business Owner will have working knowledge across three of the five POPIT (Process, Organization, People, Information, Technology) channel disciplines and sound working knowledge of one
- Pre-sales, delivery and bids experience
- Demonstrable experience of working as the Solution Owner on bids and programmes
- Experience of working in a consultancy background would be an advantage
The successful candidate may need to go through the SC Security Clearance process whilst started in the contract.
