Join our team to build cool stuff with WooCommerce.
SkyVerge is looking for part-time WooCommerce contractors with 10-12 available hours per week to join our team. You’ll be responsible for contributing to projects that currently power over 250,000 online stores, helping with new products, and making sure that the ones we already offer stay golden.

Ideally, we’d like to find some great developers to work with on an on-going basis. The possibility of this evolving into a larger time commitment per week or a full-time position as we grow is up to you if you’re looking for it – we have no shortage of work that needs to be done!

Here are some of the major responsibilities and benefits for this position:

Maintaining existing plugin compatibility and squashing bugs

Adding new features to existing plugins

Building new plugins from a spec

Adhering to both WordPress and internal team code standards and frameworks

Extensive familiarity with WooCommerce and WordPress is required for this position. We’ll provide sample code and our framework, and we need developers that can understand our standards and hit the ground running.

Other Position Details
This is a part-time position with flexible hours (10+ per week) – we know your work speaks for itself with commits, issues closed, and wiki edits. The position could evolve into a full-time, salaried position as we grow. Following an interview, we’ll ask for a quick sample project for which you’ll be paid before we commit to working together regularly.
