Senior Project Leader

Currently we are looking for a Senior Project Leader in the Eindhoven area. Our client is looking for candidates who already live in this area and who are available directly.

Position in the Organization

The holder of this position reports to the Sr Mgr. People & Knowledge. He or she has an important interface to the assigned program manager and furthermore has internal interfaces to the Quality & Portfolio Manager and Information Account Managers.

The Project Leader actively maintains an extended network within the company, which includes the stakeholders within Operations and Finance.

The Project Leader demonstrates best-in-class project management skills to introduce new or improved processes and supporting IT-tooling within the field of Operations.

Job Description

  • Create project proposals and project evaluations
  • Manage cross sector projects within agreed time, budget and scope.
  • Exercise projects according to our internal project methodology
  • Project Leadership: define project team and get approval on project plan. Manage project planning, project execution and realizing impact, including reporting and project closing. Transfer project to process owner in line management
  • Continuous improvements: identify potentials for new improvements and contribute to the improvement of the whole operations value chain (system re-design) and infrastructure by participating in or facilitating problem solving sessions.
  • Knowledge transfer: train and coach employees on process and infrastructure improvements.
  • Business case: evaluate financial consequences of required improvement (including resources) to implement improvements
  • Cross sector interface: represent the project team across the company, report progress in Project Boards and/or Steering Committee(s)

Educational Level

Master degree in technical area or business administration.

Experience

  • At least 10 years of working experience as a Project Lead in cross-sector projects in a multinational organization.
  • Experience gained in a Manufacturing or complex product environment is a must as well as proven experience in Supply Chain Planning
  • Proven track record of delivering projects within agreed time, budget and scope.
  • Certification in either IPMA, PMI or Prince2
  • Experience with change management

Personal Skills

Able to convince, inspire and motivate people and cooperate with people on the shop floor up to and including higher management; good knowledge of English language; strong communication skills and result driven
