Excellent opportunity for an Integration specialist to work with a large global business.
Solution Architect required with a drive for integration (traditional EAI, SOA, Open APIs), a proven track record of end-to-end solution design and a no-nonsense, can-do mentality.
The overall responsibility of the Solution Architect Integration Services team is to provide comprehensive expertise on integration of enterprise and customer facing business and IT solutions.
Key responsibilities include the design and implementation of the product & technology roadmap, planning with stakeholders within the business and IT community, documentation maintenance of the integration application architecture resulting in integration architecture decisions that are aligned with the strategic and tactical business and IT objectives.
Main Responsibilities of the Integration Solution Architect include:
*Lead the design of IT solutions focused (but not confined) on application integration and cross functional domains, reflecting industry best practices
*Contribute to evolution of the Technology Roadmap.
*Steer the progression of the Integration Delivery Roadmap.
*Review and approve design artefacts liaising with cross functional teams to achieve high quality designs.
*Deliver IT impact assessments focusing on solutions that bring clear business value.
*Deliver (Senior Executive) slide packs addressing various IT topics facilitating fact based decision making process.
*Acts as the technical lead and authority throughout all project life cycle stages; from assessment, design, build, test to production.
*Manage and facilitate the flow of information within the business area and with other internal organizations. Liaise with external/internal clients and vendors and represent the business unit in various forums assuring promotion of its values, standards and objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience for the Integration Solution Architect role include:
*4+ years' experience in designing & developing Integration solutions;
*2+ years' experience as Integration Solution Architect in large Enterprise (preferably Cable/Telco)
*Mastery of integration architecture concepts and SOA technologies;
*Strong experience in designing and developing ideally using Oracle Fusion Middleware products (not essential)
*Solid experience in some of the following domains: Customer Management, Order Management, Billing Management, Product/Service/Resource Management, Application Integration, Data Management, Business Intelligence, Identity Management.
*Strong exposure in Mobile, DTV, Voice and Internet technologies.
*Exceptional analytic capabilities to gather and interpret technical information and to develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
*Strategic thinker with long term vision of applied technologies
*Excellent overall communication skills, with the ability to communicate and to advise on complex technical matters to non-specialists.
*Proficient in creation of presentation visuals that relate messages and ideas efficiently; capable to deliver effective presentation to challenging audience.
*Proven capacity to consult and negotiate in a highly sensitive environment with often conflicting interests.
*Ability to rapidly adapt to new business priorities
*Ability to manage and direct technical teams, acting as mentor and coach.
