Capital International are urgently recruiting a Contract C++ Senior Software Developer for one of our defence clients in Gloucestershire who specialise in cutting edge cyber network technology.As a contract senior C++ software engineer, you would have significant technical input to the design, implementation and testing of software, including embedded systems.
Key skills for this position are:
- Embedded software development
- C/C++ with OO design
- Experience with network communications
- Familiarity with Visual Studio/Eclipse, or similar
This position may also include work with GUI applications. Therefore, experience with C#/.NET experience could be advantageous.
Additional desirable skills include:
- Experience of developing embedded Linux applications and device drivers
- Knowledge of UML notation and UML documentation tools
- Experience of Agile/Scrum team-working techniques
