Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Base Station System Architect to Engineering centre (MPE) in Kista to take a lead in the architectural design of future products. The work will include requirement capture, logical architecture design, etc. However the focus for this position will be on physical architecture and concept creation. The work will be done in close cooperation with our system teams at head office in China.(MPE = mechanical, power and Environmental (thermal) engineering)
Qualifications
You have at least 5 years of experience within system/architecture design (R&D) of Telecom radio products.
You have previous experience from system design and related process steps from requirement capture to conceptual design and also within possible site configurations. General knowledge of the RF area is mandatory.
For this position we also value experiences of the “platform, concept & product portfolio” discussions that take place during the initial phases of a product lifecycle.
We also believe that you have a really good understanding of the challenges with mechanical design, thermal design and power architecture on system level and to some extent on detailed level. Understanding of interconnecting solutions/configurations, of EMC and of grounding & lighting protection are appreciated.
Knowledge in 3GPP standardization is desired.
Fluent in English at business level
Bachelor degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent background
