A large defence organisation based in Cumbria is actively recruiting for a number Shock & Dynamics Engineers, for an initial 12 month contract paying £39.28 ph Ltd.
The role will be responsible for development and justification of shock and mounting system design solutions for the support of internal equipment and systems within a submarine. This includes systems and structures to provide shock protection and vibration isolation.
The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of classical stress analysis methods, and have the ability to use appropriate first principals and/or code formulae. They will also have knowledge of structural dynamics and ideally, finite element analysis methods.
Due to the nature of the role, a level of security clearance will be required. As such, applicants must be of UK Nationality.
