Service Development Manager
Location: London
Contract Duration: 6 months
Rate: £400 - £445 per day
Service Development Manager required with the following skills/experience:
*Knowledge of all ITIL and ITSM best practice processes;
*ITIL qualified to at least manager level;
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications;
*Highly developed negotiation and consultation skills, supported by knowledge of the public sector.
*Substantial experience of supporting the Service Delivery function of a large organisation
You will be a member of the senior Service Management Team and will be accountable for the provision of IM products and services to a specific business unit through the entire life cycle. You will be responsible for teams of service managers and analysts via a Matrix management structure and will have ownership and accountability for SLA management of IM services and reporting against the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Responsibilities:
1. Matrix management of teams of service managers and analysts
2. Direct the development of services and service management provisions for customers.
3. Lead the planning and analysis of ongoing activity to meet business requirements.
4. Liaise with all the support teams to ensure an effective service.
5. Accountable for ensuring there is communication with all relevant support groups and individuals within the business to provide reliability and relevance of service - in line with agreed SLA's.
6. Accountable for the recommendation of ongoing development of service management tools into the service management framework.
7. Deliver Services to the customers which meets or exceeds the SLAs.
8. Review Changes/releases/service request for completeness and levels of success; flagging up areas for remedial action.
