The core objectives are to:

+ deliver the overall brand and communications objectives

+ ensure team is performing efficiently and always smiling

+ overall management of the department, and at Board level

+ represent the creative, brand and communications at monthly Board meetings

+ ensure the marketing and creative teams are up to date with business news and creative marketing trends

Other responsibilities:

+ interview requests from journalists

+ manage any comms issues from potentially contentious issues

+ internal and external branding exercises

+ oversee all creative branding and marketing work

+ excellent communications skills, planning and strategy

+ can lead and influence the team

+ complete understanding of the brand, it's tone of voice and visual style

The Brand and Communications Director will have proven experience of leading and managing a major brand, as well as strong sales and marketing acumen. This is a fantastic brand to work with, and to 'caretake' for the 11 month period while the current Director is on maternity leave. Based in SW London.

Salary 50-80k

Mat cover - 9-11 months

Care taking her role as she's away, keep things rolling and moving forward, but not an evolutionary change

Working with head of creative, and senior copywriter. Marketing and comms exp a bonus
