Description:
The Sr. IT Systems Specialist will work primarily on the Microsoft System Center deployment and integration into our environment. This will require experience in building out SC along with modules for Operations, Configuration management and End Point Protection. A strong working experience with Active Directory and Domain controllers and Windows Server build out and management is a must. Will work with Servers, workstations, and PCs as well as connected hardware and peripherals and the network gear connecting these systems. Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose the OS, applications, and support software as well. The SC infrastructure will be used to support those tasks. The OSs and HW appliances we support will range from Windows Servers (2008R2 and 2012 preferred), Windows Desktops (Win7), Solaris, SuSE, Ubuntu, Mandriva, Cisco, Sonicwall, and other proprietary systems. Support is and the candidate is required to be on call to support these systems as part of a team. Will also work with other members to find new and innovative ways to streamline, optimize, and improve the systems and infrastructure.

Required Skills
Must be able to build out, configure, and maintain MS System Center to include various modules like OM, CM, EPP, etc
Must be able to manage Active Directory and Domain Controllers and its various components
Must be able to work with WMWare to administer, build out, maintain guest OS's as well as the ESXI host.
Must be able to tear down and rebuild computer Servers, workstations, desktops, and other related equipment in terms of processors, RAM, HDD, RAID configurations, expansion cards, DRACs, ILOs, PSUs, fans, and mobos,
Must be able to build, install, configure, update, maintain, and troubleshoot multiple Operating systems, to include Windows Servers (various flavors), SuSE, Mandriva, RedHat, and other flavors of Linux, Solaris and other proprietary systems. Must be able to do bare metal install of Servers, desktops, ESXi hosts, and others.
Must know administrative and/or root-level commands to troubleshoot, configure, update, and manage multiple operating systems to include but not limited to those previously listed, but also including networking devices such as Sonicwall, Juniper, Cisco, TP Link, and other manufacturers.
Must be able to troubleshoot network-related problems using tools such as Network Monitor, Wireshark, tcpdump, and other packet analyzers.
Must be familiar with the basic workings of DNS, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet, and other services
Provide technical support to multiple departments on issues concerning system builds, upgrades, migrations, capabilities, specifications, and architecture
Interface with customers to assist in configuring, managing, or troubleshooting networked devices, computers, Servers, network gear, etc.
Create on-going documentation as it relates to support processes, build out documentation, troubleshooting, and other related functions
Must be able to travel to foreign countries to deploy and support Servers and computers
Minimum of two years of experience in the IT systems support field
Moderate to expert technical-level verbal and written communication skills in English
