Enterprise Architect Core Business (Oracle EBS)- Amsterdam - €100,000 - Permanent

The Role:

Own, define, maintain and drive implementation of the overall target enterprise architecture for the Back Office IT landscape (incl Oracle EBS SCM/Fi/HR, Siebel, PearlChain) and define the roadmap in support of the MTP plan.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Own, define and maintain overall enterprise-wide Back Office architecture across domains for a 7 year horizon
- Ensure alignment to business objectives and the MTP process
- Ensure alignment to architecture guidelines and IT strategy
- Ensure alignment and consistency across domains
- Ensure integration between domains

Own, define and maintain a roadmap to achieve the target state. Work with business and IT stakeholders to define and align a portfolio of IT projects to deliver the technology roadmap. Sponsor new projects with significant architectural impact through approval in the Architecture Board

Give guidance and support to domain architects and projects as a member of the project design authority PDA in case of cross-domain changes (see Unity Way of Working)
- Lead in set-up of the PDA in case of cross-domain projects
- Direction of domain architects in definition of cross-domain architecture in case of cross-domain projects
- Definition, alignment and integration of domain architectures
- Resolution of cross domain issues
- Stakeholder management e.g. approval to embed enterprise components in projects

Define, develop and evolve architecture standards, guidelines, frameworks, management methods, processes and tools and propagate the usage of the same within the organization

Lead creation of project "architecture direction" in the vision statement of new initiatives:
- Lead creation of project "architecture direction" in the vision statement of new initiatives
- Lead creation of "architecture definition" in case of cross-domain projects and get sign-off from the AB
- Review "architecture definition" in case of domain specific projects and give guidance if required
- Lead identification of components for the product backlog (lead in case of cross-domain specific projects, support in case of domain specific projects)

Champion Architecture management across the organization

Technology skills Required:


- A university degree with above-average academic performance in a mathematical-scientific field, information technology, or a related technical field
- About 10 years of experience within ICT with recent 5 years experience in enterprise application architecture in Back/Middle Office environment and Oracle ERP technology space (EBS 12 SCM/Fi/HR, Siebel).
- Solid experience in IT Business Partnership and IT Back Office Solutioning in a B2B and B2C environment. Preferably in the FMCG, Telecoms or Consumer Electronics business.
- Professional experience will all aspects of an IT project from design through development, testing, implementation, and production
- Professional experience with key applications and technologies in Customer Experience arena.
- Awareness of relevant technologies in the wider industry, and their strengths and weaknesses
- Professional experience with enterprise architecture (at least 5 years)
- Proficiency with at least one EA framework (TOGAF preferred), at least one EA tool (ARIS preferred) and at least one modeling environment like UML
- Expertise in IT-Management Processes and ITIL
