Compliance Assurance Manager - Banking

A Compliance Assurance Manager is required by a Bank in London, to provide high quality Compliance Assurance service that meets regulatory requirements and adds value to the business.

The successful Compliance Assurance Manager will have experience of an assurance-type role (eg external audit/internal audit/control and oversight role) and a good understanding of some or all of the Financial Services activities performed by a Bank. Previous compliance assurance experience and a CISI and/or ICA qualification are also essential. Experience in factual analysis and good report writing skills, with the ability to produce concise, accurate and timely reports is also required.

Accountabilities include:

  • Delivery of compliance assurance plans
  • Accurate report writing for the business and boards
  • Provide supervision and oversight junior team members, reviewing papers and draft reports as required
  • Tracking of compliance assurance findings
  • Management and Board reporting

Good communication skills are required to build and maintain relationships with all levels of the business, whilst maintaining an independent stance.
