Market Research Director - Interim - West Yorkshire
Rate: £250 per day
Contract length: Initial 12 months - potential to extend
My client, a large Market Research company, are looking to open a new office in Manchester. They are looking for a Market Research Director on an initial 12 month contract to join their team.
Purpose of the Role:
Your duties will include managing a team and developing client relationships as well as working on several high priority accounts. You will lead projects and keep up to date with new technologies and methodologies, whilst inspiring clients to think about brand opportunities in a fresh way.
Essential Experience:
- Degree educated (2:1) or above
- Strong client handling skills with a consultative approach to client problems
- Minimum 5 years experience with a market research company
- Good commercial skills
- Global Research Experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills including the ability to present information
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, able to interpret data quickly and accurately
- Results orientated and able to work to tight deadlines
- Strong IT Literacy
Accountability:
- Initially home based, then based on site with regular Client presentations off site
- Building and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts identifying and addressing their business needs
- Handling of day to day enquiries from key client contacts
- Ensure clients have access to appropriate products and services to maximise their revenues
- Creating and implementing account plans in order to achieve sales revenue targets and hit client satisdaction scores
