A new requirement has arisen for a Business Analyst to join an Edinburgh based Financial Services company on an initial 3-6 month contract basis. You will be expected to support key programmes affecting their WRAP platform business over the coming months.
The role holder will be a self-motivated individual and have solid Business Analysis skills
Core responsibilities:
- Ongoing development of the wrap platform with a particular focus on Back Office improvements (rather than new web propositions) including implementation of workflow and auto-reconciliation tools.
- Direct to consumer proposition development
- Regulatory Developments - covering the ban on rebates/clean share classes
- New Guaranteed Product on platform development
Core skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills - confident speaker
- Experience of producing and delivering project updates to Operational Teams ie translation into business' speak
- Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
- Confident decision maker
Core requirements:
- Experience in business impact assessments
- Process design and mapping skills
- Documentation of detailed procedures and supporting guides
- WRAP platform knowledge is essential
Project Skills:
Have knowledge of and having participated in the full project life cycle covering:
- Scoping and planning
- Requirements definition
- Design review
- Business test planning and execution - Business Process Testing, Model Office and Business Verification Testing
- Defect impact assessments and prioritisation
- Implementation planning and support
- Understanding of agile methodology
- Governance and acceptance processes
