Capital International is recruiting a contract Technical Sales Support Manager with sound knowledge of SAP and coordination of bids and proposals status within a defence environment.

This is a 6 month contract based in Gloucestershire, working for a dynamic and innovative technology company that specialises in supplying a broad array of high technology products to the national security sector.

The key purpose of the role is coordination of bids and proposals status within the business division, from the identification of an opportunity through to the point of contract award and to ensure that competitive bids are submitted on time and to the required high standards.

Some of the key skills for the position are:
- Advanced working knowledge of SAP (critical requirement)
- Relevant industry experience
- Sound knowledge and experience of bid and proposals within a defence environment
- Advanced computer literacy, including WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint
- Excellent negotiator
- Experienced at managing and resolving conflicts
- Excellent communication skills

As the Sales Support Manager, you will be involved with publishing appropriate KPIs, setting up new customer accounts, maintaining opportunity related master data on the company system, driving the timely generation of proposal management and working with the applicable supporting departments as necessary.
