Description
Commercial Controller (Freight Trading) urgently required for an initial 6 month contract for a leading Energy Trading organisation based in London.
The ideal candidate will have an in depth understanding of International Freight Trading, Chartering, Charterparties, Operations and Economics who are able to assimilate all of the relevant information and develop an appropriate plan to monitor performance and avoid any value leakage in these areas. As a "Commercial Controller" for a group of vessels you will be responsible for the all the non-freight rate elements (assumptions for routing, port/agency costs, bunkers, claims, recoveries, hire, clearances etc) with responsibility and authority to direct the contributions of various service providers. Working on a voyage by voyage basis with the freight traders to optimise post fixture decisions.
