Symantec Antivirus Support Specialist - SEP12, SEP11, Endpoint Protection, Sonar, Truscan, IPS, Firewall, application control, Shared Insight Cache - Hertfordshire
Square One are looking for a Symantec Antivirus Support Specialist to come on board for an initial 3 month contract with a view to extend based in Hertfordshire.
-Experience within a large enterprise environment supporting Symantec Endpoint Protection on workstations and Servers
-Ability to diagnose, scan, submit virus samples to Symantec.
-Experience with SEP12 and SEP11
-Experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection Managers
-Experience with Symantec Sonar, Truscan, IPS, Firewall, application control, Shared Insight Cache.
-Deep understanding of Windows XP, Window 7 and Windows server
-Understanding of Virtual Environments including VDI systems
-Focus on results and ability to work independently and under pressure, and to meet tight deadlines.
-Strong communication and analytical skills.
-Understand valid customer needs and able to communicate recommendations to security managers.
-Experience with Remedy and Chameleon (beneficial)
This is a 3 month contract role based in Hertfordshire paying between £700-£800 per day depending on experience.
This role is looking to start on Monday 19th May so candidates who are immediately available for interview are highly beneficial.
Notwithstanding any guidelines given to years of experience sought, we will consider candidates from outside this range if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies.
