Financial Accountant (IFRS, UK GAAP, ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
6 month fixed term contract role based in St James Park, paying up to £50,000.
This role is to join an exciting and growing company during a time of change. The company are a manager player in property services/shopping centres and they are currently going through some acquisitions which they need financial accounting support on.
The successful candidate will have solid experience with financial reporting under IFRS, this is an absolute must! You will also be fully qualified and have full experience of producing financial statements. You will ideally have experience within the property/Real estate industry and will have used Agresso.
Key Tasks, Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Assisting the financial accounting team in integrating financial records following recent significant acquisition - activities to include:
o Reviewing opening trial balances and uploading to general ledger
o Identifying and uploading consolidation entries
o Supporting others across finance with various tasks to assist with work effort following completion
Prepare subsidiary financial statements for group entities, primarily under IFRS. - activities to include:
o Liaise with auditors in arranging and managing the audit process
o Coordinate with internal tax and company secretarial teams
Undertaking iXBRL tagging of financial statement for submission to HMRC
Other ad hoc tasks as required, including maintenance of shared accounting system and contributing to the group's quarterly reporting process
