Our client, based in Wiltshire, is looking to recruit a Contract Web Content Manager to join their team. The successful candidate must have Advanced skills in: Excel with macros, Word, Powerpoint, Sharepoint 2007, MS CMS2002 (similar to Microsoft Front Page), Basic Photoshop. Web design and web site management experience and knowledge i.e. what makes a site easy to navigate, read, use and maintain. Excellent customer relationship management skills. Experience of intranets (internal websites) especially.

Candidates must be highly literate and flexible, able to advise and work closely with the site owner. Identify, plan and deliver Intranet design, navigation and content improvements to ensure the delivery of agreed benefits. To provide day to day management and maintenance advice on the Academy Intranet Site. No HTML or customisation of sharepoint is possible, therefore skills in getting the best from what we are aware is an old CMS and basic Sharepoint are essential.

Experience Required:

• Create, develop and manage content using MS CMS2002 and SharePoint 2007 • Write (some), consolidate, edit and proofread content • Work cooperatively with stakeholders to source content to keep site current • Plan and manage the prioritisation of improvements to design, navigation and content, establish continuous improvement processes and maintain a schedule of website updates • Establish content approval process prior to publishing new content • Prepare/edit site content, taking into account Society branding guidelines, intranet design guidelines, etc • Implement and manage a regular auditing process of the GOA content to ensure currency, integrity and validity - to retain usage level • Management of content, search, display and navigation of GOA SharePoint to facilitate information storage and retrieval • Maintain key relationships associated with the use of GOA Intranet and SharePoint sites across the business
