Description

We are currently looking for a Site Administrator for our client in the automotive industry in Paris. The initial contract period will be 6 months with option for extension. The Site Administrator is responsible for the day to day administration of the site in Paris and will closely cooperate with the global IT department in the Netherlands.

Location: Paris Languages: MUST Fluent English and French Please note that if you are not fluent in French we will not take your application into consideration. Availability: on a basis of 20 hours per week. Preferably, 4 hours each day, but this is negotiable.

Knowledge, Competencies and Skills:

High School - Information technology, Bachelor level or level obtained through experience

Minimum 5 years operational experience in IT Management environment

Good level knowledge of office IT hardware and software

Knowledge of Microsoft Back Office products and SQL 2012.

Knowledge of Windows 7 + 8.1, MS Office , MS Server , SQL Server 2012 Knowledge of MS SharePoint, SQL reporting

Experience in the automotive area and understanding of their business processes

Open to work in an international environment and willing to travel occasionally to other European sites.

Affinity with technical and local legal aspects

Project management skills would be an asset

High level of analytical skills

Good communication skills in English: verbal and written

Highly accurate and well organized

Good time management skills and ability to multitask

Flexible, reliable with hands on mentality

Duties include:

Local user account management

Backup and external storage of the created backups.

Folder management on local server(s)

Request/purchase IT equipment

PC management (setup new/existing PC's)

Printer/scanner management

Local software and license management

IT asset management

Local IT contract management

Security management

Maintain local Disaster recovery plan & procedures

General Telecom Support (fixed & mobile)

Local software management including support upgrades/user testing/test evidence for audit purposes

User Training

Support/prepare Audits (generate (SOX) evidence for local Management)

Resolve IT issues in cooperation with ITD Europe

Change/incident/service request management

Prepare local IT budgets/reporting

Project management support for local projects

Attend user group meetings Dealer Management systems

Support with regarding interfaces from Corporate systems to local management systems
