Description
Maintenance Engineer required to join a global pharmaceutical company located in South West UK. Focussed on the electrical maintenance of the production equipment this role is an initial 2 month contract.Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out planned and unplanned engineering work orders in an efficient manner to ensure that the plant and equipment maintain a high level of reliability and availability.
* Ensuring that high standards of safety and quality are maintained during all works.
* Completing all information required on engineering works orders including highlighting errors or bad practices and making suggestions for improvements either to the system or the equipment.
* Self motivated generation and implementation of changes to improve the performance of equipment.
* Organise and carry out training and / or instruction of engineering and non engineering staff.
* Work on projects as defined by engineering management.
* Ensure cGMP is applied in the work area and comply with cGMP through following site SOPs in all areas of the business.
Experience:
* Mechanical / electrical apprenticeship and/or NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
* Technical skills required up to the level of HNC.
* Demonstrable expertise working within a manufacturing and /or regulatory environment
