Description
A leading Pharmaceutical plant currently have a long term contract for an experienced Validation Engineer, with experience of Raw Materials.Due to a demand in products and manufacturing, they are looking for a validation engineer to perform process validation for the new raw material introduction and process optimisation changes.
This will involve:-
- Validating all Raw Material Source changes in accordance with Quality & compliance standards required by IMB/FDA and other major regulatory bodies, to ensure ongoing assurance of supply & maximise all PPV opportunities as identified for the site formally.
- Validating all Raw Material Validations as appointed and ensure all are introduced in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Being accountable for Raw Material Validations as required across both OTC and OC sites at GSK.
- Driving Raw Material Source Changes for established product as Identified.
- Supporting Site Procurement initiatives.
- Supporting site monthly Technical Review meeting.
- Supporting the weekly Technical NPI/Raw Material Source changes Team meeting.
- Attending & participating in Supplier Steering Meetings for the Wellness / Oral Care Categories as required.
- Supporting the site Problem Solving Process as required.
- Attending key site plant meetings as identified.

Education:
Basic Education:
Third Level qualification in an Engineering/Science Discipline
Preferred Education:
Post Graduate qualification in an Engineering/Science Discipline
Experience:
Basic Experience:
3- 5 years experience in Technical / Validation Department
Preferred Experience:
5-10 years experience a Technical / Validation involving Raw Material Validations
Expected level of application of Knowledge:
Working Knowledge of Process Validation Requirements for new raw material introduction and process optimisation change
