CITI Recruitment has partnered with an innovative Oracle IT professional services and software start-up focused on enabling enterprise agility and operational excellence through the adoption of innovative technologies such as Oracle Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Process Management (BPM) and Cloud Computing.An opportunity exists for a suitable candidate to join their business in a leadership role as a Oracle Project Manager. This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of our client engagements on time, within budget and of quality.
This role combines fostering client relationships, managing multiple Oracle SOA Integration and Oracle BPM projects, status and financial tracking and assisting with proposal and quoting activities.
The role is based Canberra
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years Oracle Project Management or Oracle Technical Delivery Management demonstrable experience across Integration, Oracle BPM or Middleware projects
- PMI, PRINCE2, SCRUM qualifications desirable
- Strong process knowledge of System Development Life Cycles and ITIL
- Ability to be prioritise work effectively by understanding the impact of delays
- Expertise in quality assurance and quality control
- Strong knowledge of testing and defect tracking tools such as HP Quality Centre
- Will have worked with change management and configuration management processes
- Excellent customer service skills and proven ability in delivery of customer-focused solutions
- Demonstrable experience in managing large, diverse teams
- Strong organisational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
- Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of Oracle projects adhering to methodology, meeting scope on time, within budget and of quality
- Identify and pro-actively drive the timely resolution of dependencies, action items, risks and issues
- Providing timely internal reporting to the Practice Manager and key stakeholders
- Executing the Change Management process
- Assist in following up aged receivables with customers
- Identifies gaps in the service delivery methodology and works with the Practice Manager to bridge
- Build customer relationships through project execution and status reporting
- Manage handover between sales and delivery business functions
