Description

A Database Administrator is required responsible for supporting the Product Definition Team Leads in maintaining Part Structures using the company's Product Data Management (PDM) Tool - Teamcenter.

Tasks will require a level of initiative and a high concern for order and quality.

Accountabilities:
Creation & maintenance of Product Structure definitions under the guidance of Team Leader within the PDM Database.
Configuration of Assembly Part Bills of Material to a company process driven standard.
Expression and implementation of Designer's change intent into the Product Structure based on design input.
To be able to interpret engineering technical drawings.
To have an understanding of Engineering Change Processes and their implementation into the product.
Management of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet records including tracking reports.

Good Team working ability
High degree of IT literacy
Pro-active, flexible and enthusiastic
Training on using the company's tools will be provided but experience of reading Parts Lists or Engineering Drawings is advantageous
Experience of Engineering or Manufacturing processes desirable.
