Flex Developer
I am hiring for a particular Flex Development contract opportunity with a great company based in Dublin. This will be a 3 months rolling contract.
You will join an elite development team, who are working on some exciting HTML5 projects.
This company are transitioning from InDesign server to IDML server.
You will be a Flex UI developer with some knowledge of:
o Application design and functioning
o MXML and ActionScript and CSS skinning
o Component and application life cycles
* Advanced ActionScript 3.0 programming experience
o Understanding of OOP and encapsulation
o Knowledge of plugin security model and constraints
o Server communications layer and debugging - JSON, XML, AMF etc. plus
o Familiarity with MVC programming model and libraries such as SWIZ
* AIR knowledge and experience
o Understanding of AIR model
o Compiling AIR for mobile and desktop
o Extending functionality using ANE
o Maintaining/installing current versions
* Other technologies
o JavaScript/CSS/HTML
o Adobe InDesign, ExtendScript
o Practical application of sniffing tools such as Charles, Fiddler, WireShark etc. for debugging
o Knowledge of Adobe development tools: Flash Builder, Flash IDE, command line compilation etc.
