C# Developer C#/ASP.NET/SQL/Agile/MVC
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, talented, self-motivated, fast learning Developer with excellent development skills (C#/ASP.NET) to join an existing team based in the Amsterdam area.
You will be required to have the knowledge and skills to address topics at all stages of an information system's life cycle (requirement analysis, architecture design, realization, maintenance and decommissioning).
* Define requirements, provide estimates and a planning
* Refining and reviewing requirements with business analysts or the product owner
* Support testers in designing and implementing (automated) tests
* Planning and estimating iterations and share responsibility in the execution of the iteration
* 3rd line support when needed
* Problem solving: Must be able to tackle problems based on limited information, be able to seek out solutions and work around problems.
* Make commitments and deliver on them, and keep to the deadlines
* Team player, not afraid to ask questions, pro-active, enthusiastic, be open and clear about the status of work items, take the lead where needed and doesn't mind to take over work from other team members
Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
* Hands on experience with C#, ASP.NET, SQL (min 3 years)
* Experience with MVC
* Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server)
* Experience with Agile/Scrum
* Education HBO/WO (NL) or College (UK), preferably in Business, Economics and/or Information Technology.
This will be an initial 6 month contract, however is likely to be extended at a later date due to the work load in place.
