Description
We are a small bay area-based user experience design firm working on Fortune 1000 corporate applications, mobile experiences and web sites. We are looking for a talented Interaction Designer who is an independent contractor looking for consulting projects in the San Diego area. We'd like to hear from you if:
- You can work onsite in the San Diego area 3-5 days per week.
- You have a deep knowledge of user-centered interface design principles and best practices.
- You design experiences that are engaging and easy-to-use, honest and useful to the consumer
- You have designed interactions across multiple delivery methods (web, client software, mobile, tablet)
- You produce wireframes and detailed, written specifications or detailed prototypes for product teams
- You work with engineering and project managers to understand technical & business issues
- You partner well with visual designers
- You are able to thrive in a corporate environment as well as a freelance environment
- You are able to assess priorities to meet aggressive deadlines.
- You are a self-starter and don't require a lot of supervision
- You have 5-15 years experience designing interfaces for software and web applications.
- You have a consistently positive attitude, and enjoy working as part of a virtual team (emphasis on team)
