Description
A global pharmaceutical organisation is undertaking a significant capacity expansion project at one of their production sites in Germany. They are looking for a Project Manager (German speaking) to lead the scale-up of the production processes to the expanded manufacturing facility.This will be an exciting opportunity to get involved in a multi-million Euro investment program.
Location: Lower Saxony, Germany
Duration: 9-12 months
Role and Responsibilities:
• Manage the scale-up and transfer of an active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) production process to an expanded manufacturing facility (currently being built)
• Lead a team of technical experts to carry out the technical transfer, as well as managing the interface with the Development, Production and Engineering departments
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of the transfer
• Carry out the validation of the scaled-up process and ensure GMP compliance after the transfer
Requirements:
• Degree educated in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Fluent in German and English
• In depth technical understanding of API production processes and equipment
• Experience carrying out and leading scale-up and technology transfer projects
