My client based in Charlotte are looking for exceptional talent to join their growing Futures Commission Merchant for a 6 month temp-to-perm contract.

The candidate should be providing subject matter expertise for both Futures and OTC Cleared fees and commissions. The applicant must be able to filter and synthesize detailed information, as well as understand system processes and workflows.

Functions for this position include:

Interact with Operations, Front Office Trading and Sales, Finance, and Clearing Brokers to resolve client commissions and fees issues.
Accurately charge and collect commission for Futures and OTC Cleared trades for both Member and Non-Member relationships.
Work directly with Electronic Give-Up System to initiate and execute Give-Up Agreements for both Clients and Firm Affiliates.
Provide internal and external support across various projects
Review and generate various reports to management related to Fees and commission upon request.
Recommend process improvement as needed based on industry best practices primarily targeting risk mitigation and straight through processing. Creates enhanced controls, efficiencies and that will improve the performance of the group.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years capital markets industry experience.

Minimum Qualifications
Possess an understanding of loan, securities and derivative products. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

4 years' experience in a major financial institution

3 years of Futures clearing experience with trade support, reconciliation's or commission and fees management,

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with a proficient knowledge of Excel or Access is needed while also possessing analytical problem solving skills.

Preferred Skills
4 year college degree (preferred majors are: Finance, Accounting, Math/Engineering or Economics)

Proven experience utilizing SunGard GMI processing system or similar back office systems

FCM startup experience

Experience in business analysis, working with project management,

Highly motivated with ability to drive results

Independent thinker yet adaptable to a procedure oriented and a fast paced environment, have the ability to work independently on project related details and provide management and clients with ad-hoc information as needed.

Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to solve problems otherwise escalates them immediately to the Manager to seek resolution.

Ability to effectively communicate with management, operations, technology, finance, and other areas within the bank and will be encouraged to escalate risk and any processing concerns promptly
