Description
This position will be a liaison between a broad spectrum of Operational groups and Engineering. The successful candidate will work closely with Manufacturing Operators to understand challenges & deliver continuous improvements. Operations will vary from biological batch processes through high volume, fully automated production processes. This person will understand manufacturing procedures, drive efficiency and translate procedures into accurate Material Resource Plan documents.Responsibilities
* Define and maintain manufacturing routers and Bills Of Material
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives
* Track Manufacturing process performance using objective measures linked to quality and process efficiency

Required Knowledge/ Skills/ Education & Experience:
* Bachelors degree in engineering. A BSIE, BSME or BSChE will be considered.
* 2-5 years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
Preferred Knowledge/ Skills/ Education & Experience:
* Experience in a regulated industry is strongly preferred
* Experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
* Experience manufacturing biological products
* Experience with Material Resource Planning applications
