A leading healthcare business has an exciting opportunity for a talented Security specialist on an interim 6-12 month project. This well recognised medical centre is highly regarded for it's level of excellence within their field, practicing primarily out of San Francisco. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting the Information Security risk management process as the business goes through a restructuring of it's information systems.Responsibilities include:
-Perform risk assessments, preparing detailed risk assessments for management sign off.
-Maintaining and staying current on all regulatory requirements, industry standards, data security frameworks and best practice.
-Assist end users in understanding security issues and developing mitigation strategies.
-Managing information on the risk assessment in the company's governance, risk and compliance database.
-Monitoring and documenting the effectiveness of the businesses Information Security Program.
You will need to have substantial experience of practical information security, risk, compliance and audit experience in a regulated environment. You will preferably have a BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Preferable systems experience includes; TCP/IP architecture, Windows OS and Microsoft office.
