Description
As member of a collaborative application development team, you will design, develop, and support systems for the Fund Administration group within Investment Administration, which is responsible for Prime Brokerage Service Operations, Transfer Agent and Fund Accounting processing. This team sits within one of the most famous Investment Management firms in the industry globally and is headquartered in Boston.In this role, you will be participating in development activities to successfully deploy new systems and enhancements, and work with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement solutions to meet complex business requirements. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members in their development activities.
In order to be successful in this position you will need to be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments in a fast-paced environment and interacting with people at all levels in the organization. In order to be successful, you will also need to have at least 7 years of experience developing applications in core Java as well as SQL or PL/SQL - the firm is an Oracle shop.
