Job description:*Actively participates in cross-functional team meetings and leads the cross-functional team in developing specific objectives and plans for completions
*Takes an active role in managing working interest partners during the planning and execution phase of completions
*Identifies and evaluates appropriate offset wells
*Leads internal completion reviews and risk assessments for assigned wells
*Confirms service company stimulation treatment recommendations, and develops the completion design
*Writes completion procedures for assigned wells
*Documents all completion well design changes using the management of change process
*Provides technical support on daily completion operations and is the primary contact for field completion engineering issues
*Provides full time completion engineering support to assigned drilling/completion rig(s)
*Monitors daily morning report, and facilitates data error corrections and coding
*Has primary responsibility in DBR, for well file population and management of assigned wells
*Provides internal and external benchmarking and end-of-well reports
Qualifications:
*Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience with five plus years specific completion experience
*Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
*Visibly demonstrated personal and company HSE commitment
*Detailed knowledge of completion design in areas of coiled tubing, perforating, wellhead and trees, and completion fluids
*Good knowledge of well control, fracturing fluid systems, proppants, pressure pumping equipment, and modeling software
*Good contractor selection and performance management skills
*Strong risk management skills, including knowledge of risk assessment and management of change
*Strong project management, communication and presentation skills
*Good PC skills with knowledge of MS Office suite and competent with relevant drilling engineering software
