We are seeking QA Engineers' for our Central London and Edinburgh Offices. Are you someone who is passionate about "Quality"? We are seeking someone who can review specifications and attend planning meetings during the development process with the aim of influencing software design to promote testability and facilitate overall system quality.

The successful candidate will be integrated into our Agile development team, working very closely with Developers, other QA, Sys Admins and Product Owners. You'll help to share the workload and responsibility for defining acceptance criteria, delivering new features to our applications, writing automated scripts using Python, helping with manual exploratory testing and confirming that no regressions have been introduced to our existing product.

Skills & Requirements

You will have strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum Principles with experience of System, integration and regression test planning, estimation, documentation and execution for product releases.

You will have experience of UAT, exploratory, experience based and regression testing. You will be following, promoting and improving testing processes and standards with the ability to debug issues and provide developers with good bug reports to solve the root causes.

Desirable Skills:
  • Automation experience using Webdriver/Selenium with Python preferred (any other language considered)
  • Experience of web based testing
  • Technical development background is desired but not required
  • Preferred Python environment/coding/language experience, though others considered
  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate
  • Understanding of non-functional testing - i.e. security, performance
  • Working knowledge of continuous integration (Hudson/Jenkins)
  • Outgoing, presentational skills, able to communicate clearly with developers and stakeholders
