Job: Ecommerce Project ManagerLocation: South Dublin - beside Luas line
Salary: 70k circa plus benefits
This fantastic opportunity has just come available with a successful ecommerce company who deliver to the retail space. Due to new business, my client now require an experienced Project Manager with an ecommerce and client facing background to join their talented team.

You will work amongst a team of 52 people including Professional Services, Development, Logistics and commercial professionals in their trendy Dublin south located office. You will be exposed to leading edge technologies and work with a close-knit team with fantastic career opportunities.
Role:
This role will give you the opportunity to project manage an R&D project, from needs assessment to delivery of the project and work closely with the company's CTO. You will act as Solution consultant, documenting the client requirements and gap analysis against the company's web platform. As the Ecommerce Project Manager you will work closely with the business development manager/account manager to ensure the customer's and company's interests are best served at all levels. This role is a client-facing role which will require on-going service management for key clients.
Other responsibilities:
Ensure that the diverse project components are planned, managed, and controlled from project initiation to project wrap-up within agreed time, cost, and quality boundaries.
Ensure that Project issues and risks are identified, recorded, managed to resolution and assessed in terms of cost/time impacts.
Responsible for ensuring that all phases of the project are clearly documented - particularly business and functional requirements of the final solution.
Ensure that an effective project team is set up to achieve the project deliverables. Project goals to be set and performance reviews will need to be carried out for the project team members.
Detailed project reporting & metrics are required to be produced ranging from regular internal status reports to customer progress reports.
Your background:
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years experience in a customer facing Project Management role with experience of methodologies e.g. PMBOK or PRINCE2.
You will have excellent inter-personal, communication and networking skills (written and verbal) with both clients and colleagues. Delivery experience within the software industry, is an absolute MUST, along with an understanding of existing & emerging technologies and an understanding of software development from initial requirements through to on site deployment and ongoing maintenance and support.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of various web platforms, applications, technologies, HTML/XML mark up and languages.
Experience of web development best practice including Accessibility, SEO, Search, Meta Data, Portals, Mobile Web, eCommerce.
Knowledge of web development processes, tools and standards.
Experience of working in projects for the retail sector is an advantage
