A global healthcare company is currently seeking a Director of Manufacturing with inhalations experience to work in their new site in Dublin. It is an exciting growth phase for this organisation and there is significant expansion plans for the next 12-14 months. The scale of expansion and investment is extremely significant. Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for organizing, developing and executing the manufacturing plan; including establishment, execution and reporting of departmental systems, goals, priorities, schedules, risk analysis, manufacturing capacities, budgets, metrics and timelines. Initiates and facilitates cross-functional meetings as necessary to achieve goals.
- Responsible to ensure that the products are produced in a timely and safe manner which meet or exceed all specifications, quality standards, IMB & FDA regulations and other Health Authority guidelines.
- Define and recommends key objectives in each area of operation.
- Develop specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and justification.
-Develop and/or review quality reports, events, investigations, customer complaints, cost variance reports, production yields reports and manpower and facilities utilization reports.
- Formulate and track action plans to address issues, opportunities and associated CAPA.
- Develop, review and manage department capital and expense budgets.
- Partner with Quality and Operations to identify and prioritize the continuous improvement of the company's processes and technologies to improve the quality, safety, reliability, RFT and productivity of the manufacturing and testing processes.
- Identify and/or support the use of 'best practices' and development of new technologies and/or product innovations in conjunction with quality, engineering, manufacturing, process development.
- Identify and ensure the development of adequate training curriculum for staff, ensures that appropriate training program is successfully maintained and that 'standard work' practices are employed.
- Support the implementation of the Operational Excellence programme on the site by encouraging your staff to identify, lead and implement improvements.

Minimum Requirements
- Degree qualified in an engineering discipline is required and an advanced degree (MSc or MBA) is desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years senior management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience working in the area of Respiratory and Inhalation products.
