My client, a market leading global financial services institution is looking for an IT Procurement Manager/ Lead - HARDWARE to join their team. This role is a great opportunity for a Procurement professional to gain experience in a well known organisation.THE ROLEHOLDER MUST BE FROM A BANKING/ FINANCIAL SERVICES BACKGROUND
Salary: £55k+ (depending on experience) & bonus, shares
start date: ASAP (Will take into account notice periods)
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS ALSO AN INTERIM ROLE OF THIS NATURE WITH THE CLIENT. PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW IF THIS WOULD BE OF INTEREST TO YOU, 3 MONTH DURATION.

Skills
Strong experience in strategic sourcing and procurement is essential, to support and deliver cost saving programme across the region and exceed plan. Good communications skills will be required to manage across the numerous stakeholders. Logical and pragmatic approach is required with the experience of working in an unstructured environment where data is not always readily available but a 'dogged determination' to collaborate and collate the information from disparate sources will ensure success and a strong working partnership with the business.
An ideal candidate will be an excellent team player with international experience in the financial services industry or similar with a high degree of experience of buying across numerous technology categories.

Establish effective relationships with supported business units:
? Engage all supported business units (BUs) on their strategies and resulting needs for third party goods or services
? Maintain effective relationships with key internal customers and support organizations
? Set clear goals for cost savings, value creation and supplier performance in context of business unit operating plans
